This guitar is the original, even though the plexi/lucite are what the Dan Armstrong guitars are famously known for, Mr. Armstrong was making his own guitars with this design long before he teamed up with Ampeg to make the original plexis and luicites.
what he says is … what he says is true, this video doesnt really do the guitar justice, it is the slickest feeling, looking, playing guitar ive ever seen, it is obviously on first glance a well made instrument.
I just bought this … I just bought this guitar.I have not received it yet.I called Ampeg to find out where to buy pick ups.He couldn’t give me any info because of copyrights by Dan Armstrong.Anyone have suggestions?

I got to try this … I got to try this at my local guitar center and i was blown away, for one pickup and that tone circuit bend switch that ist has, its versatile, this guitar is really one of those hidden jems that dosent get alot said about it, but all i can say about it is wow
I’d most definitely … I’d most definitely buy it, if it had a neck pick up. But still, an amazing feature. I wonder how much it’ll take for both the guitar and pup manufacturers to figure this out and actually have this for an option.. But what if you’re shredding a teeth-picked solo and you’ve forgot to tight the screw in the back.. =)
