I use a G key to play blues, and I also own a C key for about everything else. Most harmonicas are really easy to learn if you're just going to play by ear. A little longer to read music, but I would imagine that most people that play don't read it, nor do you always have to. Oh, and you can get double sided chronomatic harmonicas that can play in 4 different keys...maybe more.
