    I was referring to …
I was referring to LakeShaman, he was talking about the “devil scale” which ive always learned is actually called the Harmonic Minor Scale. It’s the minor scale with the 7th tone raised a half-step in order to create more tension in the minor scale. Yngwie uses it 99% of the time

Well, guitaristman23, that scale I mentioned can be found in a certain instructional ‘virtuoso’ guitar dvd package. I don’t have it yet myself, but it’s exclusive through an online company.

Many may know of these “virtuoso” dvd collections that they advertise, but they aren’t found that easily. I’ll try and link.

    First time watching …
First time watching and hearing(I think) these guys. And I had to watch it twice because of how much it supremely owns.

Now, I’m wondering, what is the trinome or(excuse the lulz) “devils scale” lol. There isn’t a devils scale that I know of; and I know many minor and descending scales. It looks like he’s using what few players know of. That secret “extra fifth” is called the Heptonic scale. It’s all in groups of five.

  • MetalHeadMclovin:
