    Thank you for your help. I had the chords down right before I watched and needed the right hand work. The strumming suggestions were easy to follow. I think you did a Californication guitar lesson that I took a few months ago. I am a definite subscriber. I can tell you enjoy what you do which makes it all the more effective to watch.

    try playing em with your baby and ring finger, then kinda slide from one to the other releasing baby and making F#7 chord. hope thats what your looking for.

    Curious: any hints on going from open chords to a bar chord?

    For example…open Em to a barred F#7. Using a bar suddenly sounds like a full stop in sound whereas the strings had been ringing during non-bar chord changes.
