    I have three ideas …
I have three ideas for beginners:

    1. After you tune the strings, check how good you did by playing the open strings of low E and high E together. And play a G chord to see if it sounds nice.

    2. Once you go through all the strings you may have to retune all of them again, because the strings put a lot of tension on the neck. If you adjust one string, it can affect the other strings.

    3. Even if you have an electric tuner, you should practice how to tune by ear.

    I agree, Andrew is …
I agree, Andrew is so clear and so understandable, I would buy any DVD’s of his teachings if he ever created them!
Also, this method of tuning is much handier and easier than a silly ”electric tuner” that usually has no batteries.

    Hello …
    o bonavistask8er,

I didn’t include it here because after considering it overall… I felt it wasn’t really on the beginner level when it comes to tuning. I will cover it on an upcoming video when I talk about tuning concepts for Intermediate level guitarist.

    Thanks for watching,
    Andrew W.

    Hello mmatth2194,

    o mmatth2194,

If you are tuning a, “way-out,” note you will no doubt require an external sound to get you started. A piano, another guitar, or a pitch-fork (or any other kind of “A440Hz” source, try “online tuning fork” dot com).

    Hope this helps,
    Andrew
