i agree with you laffers. louis is just a , and i completely disagree with him about all slap bassists being ‘punched out of the band’. I play slap bass, and they havent kicked me out of my band.
I think that he is jealous that he wouldnt have the capacity to play slap bass like the rest of us bassists!

Sorry but it’s Level 42! He’s a great bassist but the pop/slap thing is just tedious after more than 2 seconds, it sounds 100% better when he plays it all really funereal slow. All slap bassists(save Flea) are nobheads and usually get punched out the band.
