I’ve been working on sweeps for a while, and I can honestly say this help.
By the way, you might want to invest in a new guitar. That thing looks like it’s been through and back.
this is cool but … this is cool but another good sweep picking exercise is playing the intro to children of decadence by children of bodom, it also imcorperates hammer ons pull off etc.

sweep picking is … sweep picking is not an exact science. when i first learned sweep picking the hammer-ons never sounded good. so i just incorporated them into the sweeping motion. basically, just try and slow down your sweep when you get to the top of the arpeggio. if that makes any sense. if you keep up on practice and “flow” with the sweep, you’ll be nailing it
This confuses the … This confuses the out of me. I don’t have enough tome to hammer on or pull off by the time I should be hitting the next string. So It’s not a consistent sweeping motion, to fill in those hammers and pull offs I have to stop my sweep for a millasecond. Someone help!
