strings 2 at a time …
strings 2 at a time, centre out and never had an issure with tunings going out, truss rod rattle or a neck warping ie,humping or bowing badly, on me. who knows.
it was explained to …
it was explained to me many years ago, that losing tension on the neck by cutting the strings in one go could be bad for the neck and the truss rod as the wood will soften/harden due to the ambient temp of a room. cutting the strings, therefore releasing all that tension in one go could poss snap a truss rod or warp the neck quite quickly. again, this was how it was explained to me and could be absolute tosh. but ever since then, i have changed cont.
