Electronic tuners are fine but it’s good practise to do it the old fashioned way as well. This method uses only one string as a reference so you don’t get problems the further on you get.

I’ve seen lots of programs but this is the only one I’ve used a lot to learn, and it works great and keeps you interested in playing. This is a commercial guide and it costs a bit of money.
