How to tune your guitar by ear
*NOTE*
This video explains how to tune your guitar TO ITSELF. If your 6th string is out of tune, the rest of your guitar will consequently be tuned down almost half a step, maybe even a full step, which is why I reccomend using a tuner, however if you dont have one, use a website, as they are pretty much the same.
Basic video on how to tune your guitar by ear without a tuner to hand.
The website I use to tune my guitar is: www.howtotuneaguitar.org – however you can just google ‘online guitar tuner’ and pick any that you fancy

How to Balance and Float your Electric Guitar Tremolo by Armand
Quick list of things to remember:
- Using heavier springs – tighten springs
- Using lighter strings – loosen springs
-Tuning higher – tighten springs
- Tuning lower – loosen springs
- Don’t strip your screws out!
- If you are tuning up and the bridge comes out of the body, stop tuning up. Loosen the strings up and tighten the springs before trying to tune back up.
This is a tricky process so be very careful with the decisions you make. Message or comment me with any questions!
