‘How to tune acoustic guitar by digital tuner ‘ by Dr Alim
Here I am giving lesson to how to tune an acoustic guitar by digital tuner!
guitars or any stringed musical instruments can be tuned with the help of
1. different websites that offer for free how to tune your guitar and other stringed musical instruments,
2. downloadable simulated tuners
3. by ear for experienced performers.
4.digital tuner as I have used in this video.especially when a guitar was kept away for a long time or after a long playing session.
In 6 stringed guitars, The thickest string is the uppermost ,while you are holding and plucking with your right hand, it is tuned it has highest bass , it is numbered as 6 and tunes to lower E, similarly strings 5 is tune to A ,string 4 to D, string 3 to G string 2 to B and last the thinnest with the highest pitch or frequency is tuned to note or tone higher E.
That is in short :-
6E 5A 4D 3G 2B 1E
About the major difference between western and Indian Musical system was summarized very beautifully by Late Dr. Rabindranath Tagore who was acquainted with both the western and Indian Music systems put it thus::-
“The world by day is like Europeans music-a flowing concourse of vast harmony, composed of concord and discord and many disconnected fragments. And the night world is our INDIAN music : one pure deep and tender raga !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
