How To Tune Your Guitar to Open D

Hello! This is an instructional video on how to tune your guitar to open D tuning. In this video, I also explain Drop D tuning along with an easy way to get your guitar in Open E tuning using a capo once you have your guitar tuned to Open D. Learning how to tune your guitar to Open D is very simple and playing in Open D is a lot of fun. I originally learned how to tune my guitar to Open D when I realized there are a lot of great Bob Dylan songs that are played in Open D and I wanted to learn how to play them.

This is my first ever instructional video and I THINK it turned out ok. However, after watching this video, if you still have questions regarding tuning your guitar to Open D, don’t hesitate to comment or send me an e-mail and I will do my best to answer your question(s).
