Wailing Blues 2 — old school electric guitar blues instrumental

http://www.fillmorepedal.com Playing the old school wailing blues on the 1976 Electra Omega X210 guitar, a Les Paul Custom style, through the Newport ’69 Fuzz Rev. B by The Fillmore Pedal Company. Bass is a 1974 Ibanez Jazz Bass. Just letting it rip, this is recorded live. This is the kind of blues I like to play, hope you like it too. The Newport ’69 is used on both the lead- and rhythm guitars. Recorded on the Yamaha AW1600 tonight, I played all the parts.

Most importantly, both Gary and Dunlop want you to have the confidence to change your own strings so that you can quickly replace a broken string, or replace a dead set with a fresh one. Gary has been a long time friend of the Dunlop family and also shares his home turf with the organization. For those who aren’t aware, Gary has a guitar shop in San Francisco and has been doing set-up an repairs for a multitude of top-shelf guitar players such as Jerry Garcia, Santana, Slash, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Johnny Winter, Zakk Wylde, Warren Haynes, Jim Dunlop, Muddy Waters, Jeff Beck, Aerosmith… You get the picture.
