RB2 – Prequel to the Sequel – Expert/Expert – Bass/Guitar – Co-op – Gold Stars – 5GS
Fun song. I was on bass (left) and NYVideoGameFreak (aka GermanFatass27) was on the right with guitar. We played a couple of songs today in band quickplay, and this was a pretty cool run I got on video. I FC’d bass and NYVGF did pretty well on guitar. ValveFX OD-2 Overdrive / Distortion VS Behringer VO1 ‘Vintage Distortion’ unit
A short, barefooted video of one of the tests we performed – OD-2 overdrive prototype no.2 unit vs. Behringer V01 ‘Vintage Distortion’ / fuzz box. They say the Behringer sounds a lot like the Big Muff…. it’s pretty close, and obviously a transistor based fuzz box. The OD-2 can nearly match the tone, but with a cleaner, as well as warmer ‘tube driven’ sound to it. The video also proves the OD-2 can clean up with just a simple volume adjustment on your guitar, where as the VO-1 doesn’t clean up. Leads are where the OD-2 completely smashed on the huge Behringer V0-1 box.
